Hornby Select DCC Power Saver Short-Circuit Protection Device

A plug-in current-protection module designed to help protect a compatible Hornby Select DCC controller from prolonged layout short circuits.

Features and operation

• Installs between the Hornby Select controller and the track cable
• Limits current to a safer level during a short circuit
• Automatically resets after the short circuit is removed
• Direct-fit design with screw-terminal connection for the track cable
• No permanent controller modification required

Compatibility

• For the Hornby Select controller using its original 1A power supply
• Not suitable for the Hornby Elite
• Not suitable for a Hornby Select operating from the upgraded 4A power supply
