A superb example of the iconic British Rail Class 101 Diesel Multiple Unit, this model is presented in the classic BR Blue/Grey livery that became synonymous with regional passenger services throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Built by Metropolitan-Cammell, the Class 101 became one of the most successful first-generation DMUs, operating across Britain for more than four decades and serving countless branch line and local passenger services.

Manufactured by Lima, this model captures the distinctive appearance of the prototype and remains a popular choice amongst collectors and operators alike. Finished in the attractive BR Blue/Grey colour scheme, this unit is ideal for layouts depicting the BR Blue era.

Originally released as a 3-car set, then as a rarity as a 2- car set.  This sale includes vehicles W50304 and W50329 only. Centre trailer vehicle W59122 is not included.
